2 Main Uses
Phenolic resin production: Phenolic resin (electrical wood, adhesives, coatings, friction materials). Bisphenol A & Polycarbonate synthesis: Bisphenol A is further processed into PC plastics, epoxy resin, and pharmaceuticals. It is also used as a disinfectant, preservative, pharmaceutical intermediate, and pesticide raw material. Fine chemical preparation includes salicylic acid, picric acid, rubber anti-aging agents, fragrances, dyes, etc.
