Product Introduction
3-Methylpyridine, also known as β-methylpyridine or 3-picoline, is an organic synthetic intermediate and solvent. In pesticide production, it serves as an intermediate for insecticides such as imidacloprid and acetamiprid (Chemicalbook). It is used to synthesize the subsequent intermediate 3-methylpyridine-N-oxide. Additionally, it can be utilized as a pharmaceutical intermediate, dye intermediate, resin intermediate, and more.
